FAQs

Can I still use drinking water?

Drinking water will not be affected by this shutdown.

Can I still use the toilet as normal?

Recycled water supplies will be completely shut down which will mean limited water flow during the works. Where possible, consider using small buckets of tap water to flush toilets after 10pm this evening.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare?

There should be minimal disruptions caused by the fix this evening. Toilet flushing may be affected by low water flow. If so, consider using small buckets of tap water to flush toilets after 10pm tonight.

Will there be any ongoing issues after the fix has been implemented?

After the service is restored, it may take a few hours for the pressure to build up across the network. As the works are being undertaken overnight, this should be resolved by the morning.

What happens if my recycled water isnt working in the morning?

After the service is restored, it may take a few hours for the pressure to build up across the network. If experiencing issues after restoration of the service, it is recommended to leave recycled water taps at the highest level of the building to allow for trapped air in the pipes to escape, and water fully pressurise.
