The Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre is available for recreational or competitive archers, archery programs include the following:
COME ‘N’ TRY This introductory program is a 1.5-hour class that includes the basics of archery with all equipment and instruction provided. The program is designed to give you the necessary skills to shoot a bow and arrow.
BEGINNER’S COURSE Once you have completed the Come ‘N’ Try archery program the next step is to book a course of beginner's classes. We offer a three-lesson course over three weeks. Here you learn the basics of correct shooting techniques. Includes all equipment and instruction by skilled instructors.
BEGINNER’S INTERMEDIATE After you have completed the Come'N'Try program and the 3-lesson Beginner's Course you'll then be eligible to attend the Beginner's Intermediate Course which will help you to develop your confidence and complement previous lessons. It is also another step to develop your skills for competitive archery.
PROFESSIONAL COACHING The Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre is proud to offer professional one on one coaching sessions under the personal direction of Tim Cuddihy Australian bronze medalist from the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. These lessons are open to the general public and to Archery club members.
SAGITTARIUS MASTER CLASS SERIES Leading archers and top administrators in the sport in Australia will visit the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre to give special Master Classes on specific aspects of the sport in our Sagittarius Master Class Series.
ARCHERY CORPORATE DAY The perfect idea for your next work team building event! Your group will shoot a bow and arrow, bond and laugh. We'll create a fun and interactive unique event to suit your objectives! Perfect for all ages, genders & management levels (even clients).
SCHOOLS PROGRAM Attractively packaged to promote the sport of archery to school students. Term based weekly classes of 1 hour duration will incorporate elements of our Come ‘N’ Try archery program and our Beginner’s Classes, under the guidance of our skilled instructors.
KIDS ON TARGET SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM School holiday program for kids aged from 10 to 18 years that includes the basics of the sport of archery with all equipment and instruction provided - there will also be time for a bit of fun with archery based games!
ARCHERY CHILDREN'S PARTIES To celebrate your child’s birthday or any other special occasion why not try an archery party? This is a fully supervised 1.5-hour session supervised by skilled instructors offering games and activities that can be enjoyed by all ages ranging upwards from 10 years.

| SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- All Casual and first time archers will be required to complete an onsite safety induction prior to shooting.
- All archers using the facility must present a Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre safety induction card on arrival.
- The minimum age for archery at the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre is 10 years.
- Children aged 10 – 15 years must be supervised AT ALL TIMES by an adult 16 years and over.
- Programs conducted by the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre have a minimum number of required participants; lessons may be rescheduled if minimum number of participants is not achieved.
- For safety reasons the maximum number of participants in programs conducted by the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre will not be exceeded.
