If you are a total newcomer wanting to find out a little bit more about archery then this is the ideal place to start.
Our Come ‘N’ Try archery program is a 1.5 hour class that includes the basics of archery with all equipment and instruction provided. This introductory program, presented by skilled instructors, is designed to provide you with the necessary skills to shoot a bow and arrow and will give you the proficiency and confidence to progress to the next level.
Like many sports, archery has it's own distinctive terms and we’ll also help you understand what’s what by providing a simple guide describing the sport of the bow and arrow.
Our Come ‘N’ Try archery program provides a fun and enjoyable experience for all members of the family, but please be aware that there is a minimum age limit of 10 years.
Archery is one of only a handful of sports where participants can compete irrespective of age or gender so get together with friends of any age and ability and enjoy it!

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- All Casual and first time archers will be required to complete an onsite safety induction prior to shooting.
- All archers using the facility must present a Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre safety induction card on arrival.
- The minimum age for archery at the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre is 10 years.
- Children aged 10 – 15 years must be supervised AT ALL TIMES by an adult 16 years and over.
- Programs conducted by the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre have a minimum number of required participants; lessons may be rescheduled if minimum number of participants is not achieved.
- For safety reasons the maximum number of participants in programs conducted by the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre will not be exceeded.
