If you’re interested in continuing with archery then the next step is to book Beginner’s Classes.
We offer a three-lesson course over three weeks and to enrol in this course you must have completed our Come ‘N’ Try archery program.
Here you learn the basics of correct shooting techniques. Includes all equipment and instruction by skilled instructors.
It is very important to learn the correct shooting technique right from the start and you will have the opportunity to practice by yourself. Correct technique is everything. It's the basis of good shooting.
Each of our Beginner’s Classes is of 1.5-hours duration, and this includes all equipment and instruction by skilled instructors and on completion of the three-week course you’ll be presented with a certificate recognising your achievement.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
- All Casual and first time archers will be required to complete an onsite safety induction prior to shooting.
- All archers using the facility must present a Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre safety induction card on arrival.
- The minimum age for archery at the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre is 10 years.
- Children aged 10 – 15 years must be supervised AT ALL TIMES by an adult 16 years and over.
- Programs conducted by the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre have a minimum number of required participants; lessons may be rescheduled if minimum number of participants is not achieved.
- For safety reasons the maximum number of participants in programs conducted by the Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre will not be exceeded.
